Hey everybody. So here's the background. I sold the 03 Rubicon to pay off bills and buy a DD + Trail rig. So I picked this 85 4runner up last week from a friend. Its beat, but the engine, tranny, and everything else is rebuilt. Gonna be a budget crawler for me. Here's what I'm starting with:

It's lifted with an add-a-leaf in front and shackle in rear. open front and rear. on 33x12.50 km1's

kinda, just to try out the 4wd and mess around in the dirt a little bit. I've got to replace those valve seals before I can do anything

And Cant decide whether to do wagoneer leafs front with 63's rear or all pro 3" all around.

WELL we've got a little set back. I had the 4runner at the shop to get all those things I stated above done with, but they quoted me 425 for everything. Got a call the day afterwords saying now its at least 750. So I took it home without getting them done. But I know the head mechanic and he knew the owner before me. Said it smoked since he got it, so the conclusion was to reset the valve stem seals because the owner before him had just rebuilt the engine. So I'm doing that today (spark plugs out, oil drained, a cap full of sea foam in each hole, let it sit for an hr, then hand turn engine and it should reset the seals properly) we'll see.....

On the other hand, I knocked out some of the dents today and repainted my tailgate and redid all the window trim
