That's a little better. I'm a tightwad deal-hunter...

I bought my 88 blazer for 1500. Fuel injected, A/C Power everything. Got a set of military one ton axles with 4.56 gears and a detroit in the rear one for 200 (very rare deal). MIT put a used detroit in the front for about 600. I paid 500 for 38" mil surplus tires and 300 for a crossover steering conversion. $2800 total.

Then I wrecked the body on a dune and the ins gave me 4200 for it and I kept it. Still runs and drives, need to build a buggy outta it.~rockon


Oh,  I blew up the 700r4 tranny and np241 xfercase and replaced them with a TH400 and NP205 from a dually I got for 1500...
