The season is here and I was wondering who was up and running and who wasn't? After last weekend I have a few little things to take care of like new battery's, some type of storage for the regular junk, and finish mounting my front bumper good enough that I can get a pull with the winch. Where are you at with your rig? ready or not?

Toyota runs great and the VW runs great, The tranny in my dodge finally took a crap so i have no way of towing anything. But i do have a good lead on a NV5600 trans for it.

The Waggy runs great buuuuut, Still working on the lift. I hopefully will be done in a week or so. After that, as long as the bank account holds up, I'll be in the dirt as much as possible

Been working on the Toy getting it ready for this season changed out my 3rds with v6s with 4.56s and lockers, made a home brew traction bar for the rear, changed out the front brakes and repacked the front wheel bearings. I need to take it out for a small shake down run soon just to see if everthing works as planned

I thought everything was good on the Blazer until Wed. night. I was leaving the House of Blues after a show and wen to start the rig. It was 1 am and I was looking forward to my bed. Turned the key and the thing would turn over but not fire. Being a Diesel I knew it was the glow plugs acting up, so to make up for it I continued to crank it over. This ended up heating up my batteries pretty good, causing one of the terminal clamps to melt a little. This shut down the whole truck. Stranded in downtown at 1:00 in the morning is not cool. Called a tow truck and got it home. I took the day off work yesterday to get it running. Replaced 3 bad glow plugs and a couple of battery clamps. Now she is running again and ready to go.
