They look finished to me! TDay But seriously what needs to be done with them? I know that was a TDS Project and Id hate to step on any ones toes. But Im sure I could give ranger Tull a ring if need be...

Update... Just got off the phone with Richard Tull. He seems to think that anything we would like to do would be appreciated and fine with everyone involved. He is under the impression that we need to grub out the root spurs which has been the biggest thorn in the sidewall.   LMAO As soon as that is done we can connect the 2 halves and make one trail out of it. Im thinking we need to get a few good rains to soften things up a bit. Some kind of drag spade that we could use on the winches might be a good thing? Maybe extend the line all the way out and grab the roots with an anchor kinda of thing. If we started out a ways we could pull all the spurs between the winch and the hook in one pull?

Your thinking of 911C.   911A and 911C have been done for some time. This was work done yesterday on 911B and 911D. Boy these trails need names.

Here is a map to clear thing up.

We finished 300 feet on the east end of 911D, and just to the first rock on 911B

We should have a trail clearing day, maybe February 4 or 5. I think we need to get volunteer forms, I'll check with Bo.
Anyone interested?

Jeff M has the forms and as you may or may not know we maintain a few trails as well as the camp grounds at C.C. We spend quite a bit of time each year maintaining the the trails and grounds that are for camping. My problem is that different groups are sponsoring different trails and not knowing what they are doing is a bit awkward.

I guess there was actually friction when we removed the Bronco from Sidewinder last year. I know that Bo was going up there soon and wasn't sure if it was to work or just wheel?

If you want to post up a date and get a work party together I personally think it would be a great thing to do with everyone... Just not sure how it will play out.

Nice thing is there arent any snakes out this time of year!  TDay

I've been in contact with TDS and Forest Service, and all looks good for a trail clearing day.  I will get all the information later this week and we can plan on working  Feb 4, weather permitting.
