We have a member who is looking for reputable machine shop for motor work to be done here in the near future. I thought it might be a good idea to put a listing of Machine shop business together for future use. If you have first hand experience with a local So Cal Machine shop in your area and would like to give them a reference please do so here as well as any other info that might pertain to what they have done for you. Thanks for the help guys. ThumbUp

I had my engine rebuilt at Kenyon Machine 3-4 years ago. Good work, nice guys and a fair price.

They are near Pacific Beach, just off the freeway.

Ive used ARCE Engine builders in El Cajon a few years back and they seemed to doo a good jab for a fair price.
I had a head done at Ed Hales before he past away and they took a cast iron head and put new seats and did all the valves for what seemed to be a good price.
I recently had a crank shaft ground and polished with new main and rod bearings at Beans Crankshaft in El Cajon also.
