What an amazing day today. We all met up at 4corners at around 9 am. We split into two groups to tackle the trail from both ends. My group got about 50 yards off Gunslinger done. At about noon everyone had enough gardening and it was time to hit the trails. The group I was in ran out Gunslinger to Bronco Flats. We ended up picking up a few extra people along the way. After that we went around to the east side of Bronco Peak and ran that to the top. There we found a few people from the other trail cutting group. We hung out at the top of BP and BSed for a bit then headed back the way we came up then headed to Sidewinder. We had 4 rigs on Sidewinder and had a blast. The day ended just before dark. No breaks makes for a great day of wheelin.
Pics will be up as soon as I get home. See if you recognise a local celebrity.

Just got in myself... Went to leave 4 corners tonight and the Heep wouldn't turn over. Started looking it over and found that on the way up this morning the starter cable jumped onto the header and burnt it completely through. Did a quick jankey mickey mouse repair enough to get on the road before dark. I blasted to Campo and bought a cheesy $10.00 jumper cable and did a little better Mickey mouse repair good enough to get it home. Had a wonderful time seeing old friends and spending time with some new ones. I was able to ride shotgun today and get a feel for the new air ride seats. I don't know how smooth the rig rode before the air seat were installed but I honestly don't think its possible to get a more comfortable ride. on or off road. Thanks again Chris for everything it is appreciated! Im spent and thinking its time for a hot shower, Scotch and water, and some cold sheets. I forgot the camera today...

as long as you have the bushes to grab on to it works well. Its all the root balls with the sharp spikes that Im concerned about. It was easy to lop off the tops and walk away to the next bush leaving the root balls to die and get really hard. In hind sight it probably would of made better since not to lop off the bushes and just pull them up as one unit. Bet we can come up with something to help the masses.

We had 9 rigs and about 15 people show up. We cleared about 100 yards on the north end and 50 yards on the south end of 911B. Six of us headed out 911c to start on the north end of B. We got about a 1/4 mile in when 2 trucks broke front axles in the same spot and had to turn back. After everyone got tried of cutting brush Chris Boyer took his rig through the trail a couple times to get it roughed in. After we were done with the work we split into different groups, some went home, some went on the easy run and some on the harder run. I would guess that it will take 2 more days with around 10 people to finish this trail. It would be nice to finish before summer, so lets do it again soon. The bottom line, The weather was great, we didn't work too hard, and had a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone that showed up, and please post pics (forgot my camera)
