Well we didn't quite make it all the way to Big Bear. Tink and I decided to check out Crab Flats camp ground and the Dishpan springs trail. This seems like a good place to camp and do some wheelin!! It's mid summer and there is still water running up there so we need to get a Scuff run together and go hit this trail and for that matter ALL the trails up there. ~clap We were by ourselves so we couldn't get to crazy so forgive me if these pictures aren't all that, but we had a good time anyway.

Well, it pretty much all burned. You just see fire damge everywhere. It's kind of sad driving through the end of Hook creek road because all you see is chiminey stacks and foundations where the homes used to be. There are a lot of rebuilt homes already.

With a little more notice and if I weren't going out next weekend.  I would love to get back up there sometime. You'd like running John Bull so maybe next time.

Yah, it was kind of last minute deal. We'll have to hook up with 05moab and go do John Bull.

The weather was perfect as well....  I think about 80 degrees...  a little breezy....  so those of you sweating in the desert...  we where nice and cool in the mountains....  and LoBo actually did swim... couldn't believe it...  he's ears even floated.

Of course the camera was in the jeep.  I just wonder why he runs when I run the water for his bath.
