I was wondering if any of you guys have had any good luck with back up cameras while crawling around? I have one and am not sure if I should install it or not.

Sounds like a good idea, you should do it.

backing up?? on a trail?? Never  ~tank  ~rockon

well, maybe sometimes, but I'm not sure what good a camera would do, or I should say, I'm not sure if you can see what you need to see like that rock underneath you. And cameras really don't give you a good perspective of distances, depths and heights, and you would need night vision...

I just don't think it would be something I would want to rely on. Sure, some pro-rock teams use cameras, but they have them under the rigs near the axles and the top ones are can zoom and pan and so on.

It would be a nice accessory, but nothing beats walking the line and a good spotter

Brink has one... HAHA it's pretty cool. I like it

He probably doesn't read these posts too much. I think he's like me, I'm not too great with electronic stuff... IDK maybe not...  ~dots

The one I have is mounted on top rear of the jeep. Only useful to see if anyone or anything is back there.
