Moving rocks for the squeeze

It should be pointed out that rocks were being taken out, not put back in. Obviously a bunch of FJ drivers went thru first and had to pave in the dips.  ::)
thank you for clarifing that, I waited to read all the post's before saying something ~rockon

So did you guys go up Diablo drop? Was it as chewed up as the Split mountian wash? We went out that way and there was no road! Ive never seen that tore up. All that stuff had to come from somewhere?

It was the same all tore up. My inlaws said that the mtns got hammered last week so we saw the results. The wash that takes you out to thd drop off was about 3 feet lower or rather missing 3 feet of sand all rock very cool the drop off itself had 2 good sized wash outs on either side alot of water went down there

So could we do a newby run through there or would it be to rough for say a slight lift with stock axles? Going down, not up? Im thinking about the Diablo Drop Run that never happened?

you could get a stock rig through with a little help the biggest obstacle is at the beginning I was getting a little sleep deprived as I remember there were 3 good sized rocks then it was small ones from there out good spotting and a little nudge no problem.

Agree. A light foot and a willingness to bang a rocker panel will get you through. There are a couple of good size rocks to get over early, then pretty smooth.

The final hill climb is interesting because the humps are bigger than ever and there is a 3-4' deep ditch on either side now. Another rain or two and that way up will be gone.

Great weekend, great company, great spot

So how hot was it? Saturday late morning

And enjoy a refreshing fruit salad

That ended up here with Senor Tequila

Which meant nappy time until the gang showed up

For a little

But first the kids need to play mountain goat

And one of the mascots had to fantasize about the beach and guard the water bowl

yea, my little temp thing on the Jeep said 118 degrees the same day Brink and I went out there! It felt good too. I can't believe I was saying it that day. It was nice and breezy... especially when you got to the top of a big hill and got out to look around. It was dry. felt good compared to the humid hot it has been lately around here...
It was nice out that day/night  ~punk
