ShowOFF,  ThumbUp  I just look up when wheeling for the forecast  LMAO. Does that use your stereo antena? Although my serius has the wheather channel.

Talk about showing off "sat radio" in a Jeep.

No... my CB uses a regular antenna. As far as the weather channel, I don't even know how to use it. I just like the compact size of this CB. Remember a TJ has no room for anything.

just thought i'd show my CB radio

Its a Cobra 19 DX. PA and CB. I mounted it with a bar going across front driver side to passenger side roll bar, it kinda looks like an additional roll bar. I have the wires running along the roll bar and inside the bar i added. It works great!


And also my antenna is mounted on my tire carrier. Its a Golden Eagle antenna

I have mine mounted the same way, my only gripe is that the mic cable is all over the place on a bumpy trail.

The solution: got one of those night watchman key rings with the retractable cable, mounted the belt clip end on the bar, hooked the other end to the cable and it pulls the cord and mic back up  ThumbUp

^^^ good idea! but i'm totally fine with it just hanging there. i'm so used to it hanging cause its always on there like that, so actually lot f times i forget its there haha

im gettin  rid of the cb    after a raceradio   cbs are just obsolete       and i could never keep mine working for more than a couple trips anyways
