SO we've had some rain lately...took the wife to Camacho's (google it) and thne headed to Super to see what it looked like. Got there at sundown, turned onto Wheeler off Huff and took the immediate righ up the wash parallel with Huff. It's all washed out and notchy, perfect for a SCUFF run! So we cruised up a ways as it was getting dark and came around a corner halfway up...I was looking forward around the corner and didn't notice the little pond. Front went in and I hadn't locked the hubs yet, so I jumped out across to dry land (water was halfway up my 38" tires, about knee deep) leaned in to the fender, walked around and locked the pass side. Then I climbed into the bed and then the roof to drop back in the open driver door, but when I slid down, I slipped off the roof and fell on my back in the water!!!  ~eek ~eek  ~eek~excl WOOOAAAHH! COLD! I was thouroughly shocked and speech/breathless and my wife was sitting there laughing her head off. I was soaked/muddy up to the neck. My truck is probably 8' tall, was pretty exciting. Least it was soft mud! I took some camphone pics but it was too dark.

I did the same thing years ago, but I was a bit smarter... I grabbed my girlfriends ankles and I sat on the hood and lowered her over to turn the locks. But we were kinda dressed up and it was just dirty mud. LOL ~clap ~punk  Thanks for the memories!

Only my pride...

you're supposed to fall off your truck in the mud, not on the rocks...then you don't bleed.

Damn....At least your wife let you play in the mud.

We went out to the Dip Saturday to shoot off some rockets and i saw a few mud holes but my wife said i couldn't go in them.
Of course i had the Top off, Kids in the back and the dogs. we would've only got a little muddy  ~clap.
