First a thanks out to Metal Twister for the invite.
My rig is a 91 Full size Bronco running about a 7" lift 1 Ton axles with 4.88s LS in the rear and ARB in the front.  made it thru the Rubicon about a month ago too.     I'm looking forward to a run in Big bear sometime, so I'll be watching for one, since I haven't been out there since I was a kid.
I'm located in Palmdale.   I'm also into Halloween and put on a Haunted House every year, so that takes most of my time in Sept and Oct.   The rest of the time I'm working on a truck or a mustang.  Here is a couple of current pics

That looks a whole lot better than the last full size Bronco I saw on a trail, it was being dragged along by a tractor  ~clown

What didn't you like about them?  These made it thru the Rubicon with no problems.  The only problem I've had was some chunking.  I liked them enough to buy another set of 5.  Maybe a heavier truck makes a diferance, but the price is what sold me.

You got it. Truck weight. The tires are tuff and hard compound, yota doesn't have enough weight to make 'em stick and conform. A buddy has some on a burb. Work OK except they dig real bad in the sand. They have been lasting well on the street thou so the compound must be pretty hard.

Any trouble with balance?

Nope, I bead balenced with 10 oz. of airsoft pellets each, works great.

it wasnt that they were too stiff or anything     its the fact that they are a 16.5 in tire    and the 16.5 rims have no inner safety bead  pretty much  made airing down  a no go for me       i need to drop into the single digits

but hey if theyr working for u great

It's easy to put safety beads on  steel wheels. I'm going to be running the newer H1 tires. The Wrangler MT radial 37s on my dodge. Got some cheap off ebay, and some cheap steel wheels. I got some 3/16" rod and welded it on the wheels for a safety bead. Holds tighter than a regular safety bead.

Now I just gotta get them to balance...
