I picked upthis 76 chevy van that hadbeen custom converted to 4x4. the front is a Dana 44 8 lug with cross over steering and rod ends on all the steering. The rear is a GM 14bolt. The drivetrain is a 350 engine with a 350 trans/w shift kit, and a 205 transfercase. I havent had it off road yet....heck, haven't even had it on road yet. I have done a full tune up, belts, hoses, plugs, fluids, timing, just to make sure it was good. It spins the tires with ease in the drive way. Should haveit on the road in a week or two. The pic's are before I installed 33/14/16.5 swamper boggers. Looks way meaner now.

Thanks. Looking to lift it some more and build custom bumpers and roof rack for it next. Your Toy looks cool! I always liked that style Toyota.

I am in the middle of redoing the interior. Right now I have a sound deadener installed and a bed frame built for back and am fabbing brackets for a 3rd row seat out of a Suburban. I will post some pic's of the interior in about a week or so.

cool... I think it would make a great offroad camper... but all I can think of is what an old friend wanted to get a van for... a waterbed in the back...

I plan on using it for camping. I have 4 boys in Scouts and I hate sleeping on the ground but keep getting talked into all these overnight camping trips with them. But it could make dates a lot more fun :D.

That thing is pretty cool. I noticed one for sale in Lemon Grove a few weeks back and wanted to take a look at it but my wife wasn't stopping the car for some reason.
